I understand this place is closing permanently soon, which means my favorite method of preparation of lo mein and eggrolls is disappearing forever. Is there any way to get these recipes? Heartbreaking!
Ordered wonton soup, egg roll, Szechuan chicken with no baby corn, and beef and broccoli with Napa cabbage. Everything was as ordered and quite good. I've gone here many times and don't understand the bad reviews because I've never had bad luck there. It's a hole in the wall but pretty darn good.
Perfect place to get your quick lunch or dinner! I always forget about this little place but it's one of the great staple during college days. I was craving fried rice and they are only open for drive through. They have the best fried rice...must be the seasoning and always generous with the portion. I ordered the DK fried rice loaded with barbecue pork, beef, chicken and shrimp topped with broccoli, bean sprouts and egg. Tip: always ask them for their chili fish sauce and if you like spicy, ask for their boiled chili oil. They must make it fresh because the chili oil is definitely hot even for me that can take spice but oh so good when it burns! The only reason that it wasn't a 5...their wonton soup is not my fav...the skin is super thick and meat is a little bland and not a fan of the broth. They do have a wide selection of food choices but I can't get pass their fried rice!
Best CHICKEN CURRY in the midwest. Good curry sauce is hard to find. My mouth is waterin'. I think I'm - gonna'- git - some right NOW by golly!! YUM-YUM
I have known this restaurant and the people who work here for almost my entire life. The food here caters to American taste. The prices here are reasonable and the portions are huge. Lots of variety to choose from. Location is convenient. Will be missed as D and K rides out into the sunset.
